Friday, November 13 at 6:30 PM or Saturday, November 21 at 2:00 PM · $65 per person · 6 spots
This is the class for anyone who has ever been asked to bring an appetizer and had no idea what to do with that.
We are building a board that tastes like Fall! Not a generic board, but one built specifically around the flavors of the holiday table: cranberry, sage, apple, aged cheddar, smoked turkey, candied pecans, brie with something warm spooned over it. You will learn why those pairings work together, which matters more than memorizing them, because once you understand the logic you can build any seasonal board without a recipe.
We will spend real time on pairing. What sweet does next to sharp, why acid matters, how one bite should set up the next one.
You will also learn the techniques: folding a salami rose, styling prosciutto with height and movement, cutting each cheese deliberately, and building a beautiful piece of delicious and edible art!
What's included
All ingredients, provided and prepped. A board and all tools. Step by step instruction the whole way through. Recipe and pairing cards to take home. And your finished board is yours to keep.
Bring your favorite bottle. Class is held in the Rose & Brie commercial kitchen at 2171 Christian Rd, Lexington KY. Free parking on site. Class runs about two hours in a small group, so everyone gets hands on time and individual help.
