Frequently Asked Questions

The sooner the better, especially for weddings and large events. Wedding and grazing table dates are currently filling for 2027 and 2028, and weekends book quickly. For smaller boards and everyday orders, I recommend at least one to two weeks' notice when possible. Last-minute requests are always worth asking about. I will do my best to make it work.

Rose & Brie is based in Lexington, Kentucky, and serves Lexington and Central Kentucky and beyond. Delivery and travel are billed by mileage if outside Lexington and are included in your initial estimate. If you are outside the immediate area, send me your location and I will give you an exact quote.
-
Both are available. Pickup is from our commercial kitchen at 2171 Christian Rd, Lexington. Delivery is available for an added fee based on mileage from Lexington. Grazing tables and large displays are always delivered and styled on-site, since the setup is part of what makes them special.

A deposit reserves your event date and secures your services. For events, you can choose the plan that works best for you: a 50/50 plan, a 4-payment plan, or a 5-payment plan. Whichever you choose, the full remaining balance is due no later than the day before your event. Smaller everyday orders are typically paid in full at booking. All of this is laid out clearly in your agreement before anything is confirmed, so there are never any surprises.
-
Because I reserve your date exclusively for you and turn away other bookings to hold it, deposits are non-refundable, and cancellation terms are based on how close to your event the cancellation occurs. The closer to your date, the more of the balance is retained. The full details are spelled out in your catering agreement so everything is clear and in writing from the start. If something comes up, please reach out as early as you can. Whenever possible, I am always glad to work with you on rescheduling.
-
Yes, and I take this seriously. I regularly create vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, and peanut-free options, and I am happy to work around other restrictions disclosed in advance. Please let me know any dietary needs or allergies at least 14 days before your event so I can plan and source accordingly. Our mixed nuts are peanut-free. Please note that Rose & Brie is not an allergen-free kitchen, so I cannot fully guarantee against cross-contamination.
-
Final guest count is due no later than 14 days before your event. Reductions after that date will not change the total, since ingredients are already planned and sourced. Increases are welcome when possible, subject to availability, and may add to the total.

Each board and table lists the number of guests it comfortably serves. For grazing and dessert tables, the listed pricing is based on appetizer portions. If charcuterie is your main meal rather than a starter, plan to roughly double the size. If you are unsure what fits your guest count, tell me about your event and I will recommend the right option.
-
Yes. All grazing and dessert tables include a $200 setup fee that covers on-site labor and styling. I arrive ahead of time, build and style your table at your venue, and make sure it looks beautiful before your guests arrive.
-
For food safety, grazing tables and charcuterie displays are designed to be enjoyed within a two-hour window, unless we have arranged otherwise in writing. I am always happy to talk through timing for your event so the spread is at its best when your guests arrive.
-
Disposable plates, napkins, and utensils are available for purchase if you would like them added. For grazing tables, I bring everything needed to style and present the display. Boards, platters, risers, and serving pieces provided for your event are returned to me in good condition within three days after the event.
-
Absolutely! It is one of my favorite parts. Every table and board is styled with decorative elements, and I work with you on colors, florals, and details so the spread fits your vision, whether that is romantic, modern, whimsical, or classic.
-
I love sharing the displays I create, so I may photograph the food and table setups for my portfolio and social media. Guests are never featured without permission, and if you would prefer I not share photos from your specific event, just let me know in writing and I will keep them private.
